Native Northwest Grass Plugs, Shrubs, & Trees

Rely on Postlewait Nursery and Landscaping LLC for all of your native grass, shrubs, and trees. We were already in the nursery and farming business since 1987, and we saw that the need for native plants and cleaning up the waterways was a huge problem. People stepped in and said we needed to clean up the waterways, and we felt a sense of urgency to help with an environmental cleanup. There was such a high need for our products, but they weren't out there, so we decided to bring them in. Our staff has 35 years of experience to help you with our selection and to answer any questions you may have.

Grass Plugs
We grow the plugs only—no bare roots. They are like common rush, spreading rush, small fruited bulrush, and creeping spike rush. They are top quality, very hard to find, and come in any quantity, large or small. We help advise on how to plant them, as well as maintain the plants. Grasses can be in 2-4 inch plugs, so please specify your preference.

Native Shrubs
There are a large variety of shrubs including Vine Maple, Service Berry, and Red-Osier Dogwood. We also have the Oregon Grape, Pacific Nine Bark, Currant, Nootka Rose, and several of the willows including Pacific, Scouler, and Sitka. We also have the most common ones, including Douglas Spirea, Snow Berry, and Twin Berry. We supply an adequate quantity, but if we don't have something, we will find it for you.

Northwest Native Trees

We carry the Big Leaf Maple, Red Alder, Oregon Ash, Bitter Cherry, Douglas Fir, and Pacific Dogwood trees. These come in 1-gallon and 2-gallon tubs, and there are different sizes and calibers. We have an order sheet that has all of the different varieties we offer. To secure availability, please allow 6 to 8 weeks. No substitutions will be made without your prior authorization.
